Feeling the surge of searing energy from the old man's body, Jiang He glanced at Duan Tianhe and could not help asking, "Old Duan, is he a B-class fire-type Awakened?"

"Not exactly—he could be considered a special-class of Awakened since his ability is not conjured out of thin air, but relies on that black hammer."

Jiang He turned to stare at the blazing black hammer. "That hammer is quite something… its fires burn so hotly that it melts B-grade alloys, but the hammer itself remains fine."

"Eh?"

Jiang He blinked then, and exclaimed in awe, "The hammer could change sizes?"

The black hammer, which was still melting the alloys was clearly one size larger than before."

"Of course it can—the hammer itself is a conjuration."

Duan Tianhe chuckled. "As a matter of fact, the old man did not awaken fire-type powers. Instead, it's the hammer, and the fire is just a power attached to the hammer."
