It had been three days after the Holy Land Tournament officially had started.

After Kang Yan debuted, Zhao Bao, Xiahou Dun, and Ju Shoufen had their matches on the second day.

Ju Shoufen had no problem crushing her opponent and burnt him to smithereens. She obtained all artifacts and treasures from the losers, including his subordinates. She sold them back to their clan leader to exchange them for five pieces of 1st-grade soul stones. 

After two victories came the pieces of bad news.

Xiahou Dun forfeited before he entered the stage after he had discovered that his opponent was a 9th-stage cultivator, which was a smart move. He didn't lose anything, and he wasn't obliged to give the winner anything.
