Bab 88: Chapter 14

The party didn't sit well with him either and he couldn't wait to let her know his thoughts. It was hard enough to have been dragged along to the wedding and made a mockery of by his Aunt Petunia, and now Sofia seemed to have gone out of her way to make his life unbearable. 

"What were you guys even thinking?" he thought to himself while he watched Kim walk over to the bar to pour them some more wine. 

Relations with his boss, Kim, had taken a better note since they managed to smoothen things out and he wasn't going to have it any other way. Bickering in front of Kim about going to his sister's house to dine could undoubtedly trigger something unwanted and so he kept his mouth shut. It was a small price to pay while he built up his queries for his sister and hoped to be able to convince her about how much of a terrible idea it was and could be.
