Bab 989: Lost In Thought

After Raylene learned that the bunny in her arms was none other than the etcher they had been waiting to welcome this afternoon, her surprise turned to joy.

The thought that her son had found his fated beast and formed a bond with such an exceptionally adorable etcher made her smile widen.

"Chesnut… An excellent name." She applauded Howard's naming skills which elicited an eye roll from Yvonne who thought otherwise.

However, Raylene was so engrossed in admiring the beast that she had no time to even look elsewhere and hence had not noticed her daughter's impolite actions.

The Countess wasn't too knowledgeable about etchers and the only information she possessed was what her husband had shared with her.

In fact, she never cared to learn more about them as long as her family was happy with the beasts they were fated with.
