Coming-of-age ceremonies in Rosenhyde were treated as a rite of passage for the noble children who reached the age of sixteen.

Once sixteen, it was mandatory for every noble child to take part in this ceremony regardless of their birth or status if they wished to become a part of the noble society as an adult.

This ceremony was held in the Palace each year before the beginning of summer.
