Bab 34: Teddy!!
As he observed that everyone understood about what he was saying, Sun Bingwen continued, "So don't spout nonsense in front of any others."
At his warning, no one felt insulted, instead they nodded their heads sincerely in the form of a promise.
Though they were rich kids they never lacked morals. Their thoughts collided with that of Sun Bingwen's. They surely do not want to damage the reputation of a woman, in this instance Shao Rong, because of their words. Hence they all agreed sincerely.
After a game, they all gathered back and seated themselves.
As Bingwen talked to a few who were around the pool table, the others who were singing and drinking did not hear his words. One of those was the one who is a mutual friend with Ren Weimin, Yingjie.
As everyone sat and were chatting and drinking, Yingjie moved towards Shao Rong and spoke, "Miss Shao. Since you were a classmate of Weimin from high school, do you know his Teddy?"
Shao Rong, who was calmly listening to Yingjie speaking, turned stiff upon hearing her nickname from his lips. She didn't know how to respond and raised an eyebrow to say him further for clarification.
"I guess she was Ren Weimin's girlfriend. I wonder if you know her." He looked enthusiastically at her.
At the words 'Ren Weimin's girlfriend' everyone who heard Sun Bigwen's words earlier stopped their actions and turned their attention towards Shao Rong and Ren Weimin as their curious hearts were getting itchy.
Shao Rong took a glance at the stiff Weimin and nodded her head flatly for Yingjie's question.
Noticing that Shao Rong actually nodded her head for his question, Yingjie was over the moon in a second. He exclaimed loudly, "Wow. Finally I met someone who actually met the legendary Teddy."
'Legendary Teddy?' Shao Rong gave a questioning glance at his words.
"Miss Shao, you don't know how famous this Teddy was in our university. No one knows her real name and Weimin never speaks a word about her but still everyone knows her. Hence that mysterious image who could conquer this cold hearted man was named Legendary Teddy by everyone in our university."
Shao Rong immediately chuckled at the description used to describe herself in such a mysterious way and then looked at him with a smile, "If he never talked about her, how would you all know about her?"
He clearly said that Weimin never spoke a word about her but everyone in the college knew about her. If not Weimin, then who would talk about her?
An image of a girl entered her memory but she immediately shook her head. She would never speak about herself in front of strangers.
Hence her curiosity was piqued. "Miss Shao, Um it's actually Weimin himself said about her but never repeated her name ever again but that name was etched into everyone's minds that no one forgot her name."
"Weimin spoke her name? When?" She curiously looked at Ren Weimin who was drinking his drink with a solemn look.
At her question, he immediately raised his head and looked at Shao Rong and then towards Yingjie who was already tipsy and grunted his name coldly, "YIngjie. I guess you drank too much."
His voice made everyone shiver a little but the excited and a little tipsy Yingjie ignored his words and seriously looked at Shao Rong, "Miss Shao actually in the first year our college beauty who was admired by everyone confessed her love to Weimin."
As he spouted the words, Weimin's eyes hardened like a pair of stones and robotically turned his head to look at Shao Rong to observe her expression changes at his friend's words.
"Oh, looks like Weimin is really famous at his university. Even the college beauty confessed her love for him, huh?" Shao Rong sneered.
Weimin immediately froze in his spot. The atmosphere in the room immediately changed in an instant.
From the entire conversation and the atmosphere, everyone already understood that the Teddy in Yingjie's mouth is none other than Shao Rong herself. Otherwise how could a stone faced Ren Weimin look so nervous at his friends words when all he said is just that a girl confessed his love for him.
Do people stop their such conversations in front of 'just classmates'?
Never. It is not much of a deal if those words were spoken or not if the people who were talking are just his classmates.
Considering Bingwen's words, everyone was sure that the so-called Teddy is none other than Shao Rong and thus the tension in the room increased as Shao Rong just sneered and Ren Weimin froze.
Everyone tried their best to minimize their existence as much as possible but were also curious as to what would happen next.
Would Shao Rong just hit Ren Weimin's face in anger for seducing other girls in her absence or would she ignore him for a year leaving a sobbing Ren Weimin in his place?
Different scenarios ran through everyone's minds and they all looked at Shao Rong, Ren Weimin and Yingjie without blinking.
