Bab 25: Bad takes

Though Gao Renshu scolded Changying in front of everyone, no one thought that she did not deserve that. The reason being that everyone shared the same thoughts as him.

She was late to the filming from the appointed time where everyone was waiting for her arrival for a long time and once she arrived she made continuous mistakes which they all couldn't take either.

They all wanted to scold her directly too but they were in no place to do so. Hence all they could do was being satisfied by listening to their director's words and being happy in their hearts.

Listening to the director's words, Changying felt upset but couldn't do anything about it.

No matter what, retakes are common during filming. Hence after another apology the scene started again.

This time, without the interruption from Shao Rong the acting was smooth going but in the middle, Changying once again thought of Shao Rong and looked in that direction and interrupted the scene again.

Thus, even without any interruption from Shao Rong, Changying continued another few bad takes and got yelled at.

In fact Shao Rong did not think that these Bad takes would continue further after the second one. After all, disturbing the shooting schedule was never her plan. Her plan is just to agitate Changying.

But involuntarily she became the main reason for a number of mistakes and re-filming.

After a few retakes, the scene was successfully completed and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

After so many retakes, Changying had to drink a lot of water. Though she just took a sip for every shoot, the number of retakes increased and thus the number of sips of water intake increased.

She immediately rushed in the direction of rest rooms while trying her best not to show that she was in a rush.

Shao Rong immediately went in her direction and spoke softly, "Sister Changying, can I have your autograph?"

Changying was irritated at being stopped when she was in a rush but when she raised her head and looked at Shao Rong's face she froze in her spot.

"You," She immediately gritted her teeth, "You are really standing in this set?"

Shao Rong's doe like eyes fluttered in confusion, "Huh? Yes, I am always standing in the set. Sister Changying, why do you ask that?"

"Pretending to be innocent now, huh? You sure are a bitch."

With pitiful eyes, Shao Rong almost sobbed, "Sister Changying, why do you say that? I just asked for an autograph and you are calling me a bitch?"

Just as Changying was about to get angry, her stomach took a toll and she controlled herself from speaking further and took a few deep breaths.

"You, you just stand here until I come back," Changying was about to leave but then remembered something and took a few doubtful glances at Shao Rong and turned her head to search for someone.

Unable to find her manager or assistant, she randomly grabbed a passing crew member and barked an order, "Stand here and keep a watch on this girl until I am back." Without waiting for her reply, Changying turned around and entered the toilets.

The crew member whom she just stopped was dumbfounded by the situation and looked at Shao Rong and asked her in confusion, "Rong Rong, what just happened? Did you offend Changying in any way?"

Rong Rong being the bright youngster in the crew turned into everyone's younger sister in the span of a single day and hence she was concerned about her.

"No. I just asked her for an autograph and she immediately called me a bitch. Sister, is it wrong to ask for an autograph?" Shao Rong asked her pitifully with her lips being pouted unconsciously.

Looking at the little girl whose usual bright smile just turned into such a gloom melted her heart and felt pity for her. She did not know how to answer that question and simply shook her head.

As they stood there awkwardly, Bingwen came towards them. "Rong Rong, what are you doing here? It's time to leave."

Shao Rong looked at him and spoke softly in a meek voice, "Bro Wen, you change and come. I'll join you guys later."

Her tone suggested that something happened and he was alerted in a second, "What happened?"

Shao Rong shook her head at him and pulled him aside for two steps and whispered in his ears, "Xiao Wen. I guess it's time for your action. Come back here within seven minutes and save me. Now leave faster."

In that second Sun Bingwen caught a sly glint in her eyes but as soon as she moved away and stood beside the other crew member she looked pitiful again.

Though he was confused about everything, he nodded and said, "Okay, once we come out, we will head outside."

Looking at the confusion in his eyes and the hesitant leaving, the crew member understood that Shao Rong did not say anything about Changying calling her bitch or anything regarding the matter. Looking at the sensible child, her opinion on her grew stronger.
