Bab 667: A Circumvention of Cheat-like Proportion

Yeah. That was a grand aspiration but I knew myself enough that if not for it being our home, I would've just taken all my Companions away and hid somewhere.

But well, now that I gained some humanity in me, abandoning it once again for a slim chance of retaliation like back then wasn't enough to move me anymore.

It will be in this lifetime.

Overworld Serpent.

Celestial Garden.

Whatever stands in our way, we'll break through them and create a future where we can live and spend our days together unbothered.

That's the real nature of my aspiration.

It's that simple.

Unfortunately, with the tangled web of conflicts and conspiracies that needed to be addressed, I now stood at the precipice wherein I had to push myself to the next realm in order to quell the upcoming calamity.

As for whether my efforts would be enough, that was still unclear.

For now, cutting down this figure in front of me was the most pressing concern.
