Bab 609: Trace of the Old Earth

Back in the covert Transcendent World, Remilia and Alwyn stood at a raised platform next to the World's Will Incarnation and the Heavenly Mistress. In front of them, the world's remaining Transcendents gathered and were performing a set of movements that was all too familiar to Alwyn.

It's the bizarre Human Formation that got Alwyn caught in the first place.

"What do you call this again?"

"It's called Battle Formations. The one they're displaying is the Eleven-man Battle Array: Tortoise General."

"Tortoise General?"

"Yes. It made use of ten individuals' strengths, pooling them into one entity, the one holding that Honor Flag; the Core of the Array, or in other words, the Tortoise General. The smaller flags strapped to their backs served as the nodes of the Array."
