Bab 324: Birth of a Queen

With none of its attacks meeting their mark, Morgana proceeded to pierce its remaining pincer, and its stinger – the sound of its screams creating a rapid influx of mana to her senses. 

She was almost dizzy with pleasure watching the scorpion struggle helplessly. 

It hadn't abandoned the idea of returning to the fortress, to its Queen, even after everything, and her desire to corrupt its loyalty increased all the more, consuming her like a mad obsession. 

She continued tormenting it with fervour, determined to tarnish it until it forgot everything it was fighting for. She didn't even notice the pain in her head as a telepathic connection was established, until a voice started speaking to her.

[What are…you?] Its voice cracked. [What do…you want…from me?] 

Morgana was thrilled at its use of [Telepathy], but she didn't bother responding to the pained voice.
