Bab 220: 2: The Pocket Dimension

Mang YiMo, the apple of his parent's eyes, the precious heir to the Mang family, fell ill soon after seeing YaYun's real form.

The She family were at their wit's end. Not a single member of their family had fallen sick in the decades they had lived, the thought of it ridiculous at best. Shapeshifters never fell ill and never had to worry about such things. 

Even XueYa, who was a defect, rarely if ever fell ill as far as Mang HuaZhen could remember - and remember he did despite appearing like the worst of aloof fathers.

YaYun had ordered physicians to quickly come over from the capital of Qiu to look over YiMo. But no matter how many doctors looked over him, none could deduce what was wrong with the boy.

In the end, the family could only watch as the small child breathed heavily, cheeks reddened from the fever, skin covered in rashes. But despite the painful condition, YiMo was too weak to cry, merely hiccuping from time to time, sobbing weakly.
