Bab 297: A seat on the table

I walk into the room with all eyes on me again. This is the second time I am meeting them in such a short amount of time. I didn't expect things to happen this way. I didn't expect to come into this room with the argument that they can't execute Levine.

I am not fighting for her life. I am fighting for Rex's life but it involves her now and there is no changing that until he is found.

"You have done well Blue,'' Magnus breathes out with a smile.

I don't want to argue with him and tell him that I actually failed. My mother is dead because I didn't do well. I failed to find out who poisoned her until it was too late. To them, I did something good. I got the person responsible for her attack but it doesn't really change anything.
