Bab 85: Jules Briggs

The past. 

"Jules Briggs,'' he introduces himself with his hand stretched out towards me. I look at his hand completely unsure what to do with it. 

My father laughs from my ignorance "Pay no mind to him, Jules, he is just a kid." 

I roll my eyes because I am not a kid. I am already eleven. I grab his hand in mine for the handshake he initiated "Nice to finally meet you, son," he speaks up still holding unto my hand. 

I don't know who this man is but I have to stay here and entertain him because my father insisted. He lets go of my hand and I watch them walk away to the couch. I follow them and sit down on the couch opposite them. Father has a smile on his face "It has been so long, I thought you would never come for a visit."
