Bab 72: Closer.

"We have to hike the rest of the way," Eligio mutters as he parks the car, hidden in a bush. The car ride took forty-five minutes. My patience is wearing thin. All my thoughts on him. I haven't heard from him before I continue this journey, I wish he would connect with me. 

It can't happen if he is not strong enough. 

I don't know the level of weakness he is at right now but he hasn't reached out since I left my house. 

"He's okay," I mumble to myself, not letting anyone see the little amount of fear in me. I have to be strong and this is the only assurance I can give myself.
