Bab 181: The Ventura Siblings

[Johan's POV]

"Where should we look tomorrow?" Russell asked from his spot on the living room floor while playing on his Nintendo.

Johan shrugged and flipped through the biology book he was reading. "I don't know."

For the past few days, Russell had been coming over to their house before his Eskrima practice to help him look for the missing necklace. Then in the afternoon, he would drop by again and leave with his older sister, who had been preparing meals for them.

So far they haven't had any luck.

"You don't remember where you dropped it?"

"I was sure I lost it in the fishpond, but I already checked. It's not there," Johan said.

"The water in the pond is a little stagnant unless it's high tide or if there's a typhoon. You didn't lose it near the irrigation, did you?"

"I think I lost it near the coconut tree."
