[Adrian's POV]

"Where have you been—Oh~! A cake." Christy waddled towards him with a glint in her eyes that made Adrian hugged the box protectively. Her grin only widened to the point it's almost diabolical.

"This is my mine only. Back off."

"Stop being a tight-ass, Lover Boy. Sharing is caring." Christy rolled her eyes and slapped his upper arm, then pulled a red envelope stuck at the blind side of the square box. "What's this? A love letter?"

"What? Hey!" Adrian balanced the cake box with one hand to snatch it back, but Christy moved away and raised the envelope against the LED light in the pantry. He clicked his tongue threateningly. "Christy."

She flipped the envelop and arched an eyebrow. "Read only when you're alone."
