Bab 122: An Effective Sedative

[Adrian's POV]

Nothing was scarier than to witness Johan shed his innocent skin, show his ferocious side, and Adrian could do nothing but to watch through the glass door. He's not used to seeing him doing something reckless. While he found Johan's strength worth praising because apparently, he's a 'monster' in Eskrima, it didn't take away Adrian's worry that he may get in serious trouble one day. 

'Don't piss him off unless you know how to handle his tantrums. He can be patient with the people he likes, but if you cross the line, good luck.'

The advice of Johan's step-uncle didn't make feel any better. Worst, it made him feel inferior; worthless, undeserving to stand beside the enigmatic man. It also fed the growing seed of doubt in his chest that Johan might not be someone who they thought he was. Yet, Adrian still couldn't help but be drawn to him.
