Bab 59: Chapter 59

She leaned against the counter as he turned on the shower and set the temperature.

"I washed you after I woke," Beau told her. "I didn't want you to wake covered in blood as I did."

"Thanks. That explains why my hair is a little gunky but the rest of me is clean."

"Let me fix that." He drew her into the shower and stood behind her as the several showerheads located in the ceiling and walls of the granite enclosure soaked them both in the warm, gentle spray. Taking the bottle of shampoo provided by the hotel, he squirted some into his hand and began to lather her long tawny hair.

"Mmmm. You could make a living doing that," she said with a sigh.

"I have enough jobs," he answered as he massaged her scalp. "One day I'll retire from security work to do my research - maybe even teaching."

"Okay with me. And I suppose I'll be opening a branch of my dealership in Montreal, if we can sort out the international legalities."

"That would be nice."
