The beginning of wand making is lost in the depths of time, long before the rise of civilization and the invention of writing. The original wand makers were tribal shamen and wise women who made their own wands from the small branches of local trees. There was no theory of magic, and there were no uses of magical creatures, mystical crystals, and mystical metals. Just simple branches enchanted with the most primitive of spells. Naturally, these first wands were extremely feeble and the spells cast with these wands were weak or without power altogether. The results of these early spells were primarily in the minds of those involved and thus based more on belief than actual magic.
