Bab 47: Chapter 47

Darren parked in front of Mr. Dramowski's home in the Plan. It looked nicer than the place he was renting. He wasn't worried about living in a mansion. The old home he lived in was palatial enough compared to where he'd grown up. He understood all too well the reasons why children were running uncontrolled through town. He had a grandmother who ruled her clan with an iron hand. Darren hadn't been afraid of anything in those days. Nothing but his kohkom who saw through his lies with ease. He still visited her whenever he went home, and still worried at what she might see that he didn't want to talk about.
