Bab 97: PREQUEL: The Sisterhood, Part 4

"Power over your enemies?" he reminded me with a smirk, slowly walking around me, looking me up and down, taking me in. Then he lifted a lock of my hair and inhaled. "That is what you asked for, right?" 

I nodded. "You're Satan."

His sexy lips curled into a smile. "In the flesh, so to speak."

"But I always thought that you had horns—"

He laughed, music in the still night air. "I can appear in any form I choose, male or female, human or animal," he answered, taking a deep breath. "You made a vow to The Sisterhood, am I correct?"

"How did you know?"

"Well," he said, his voice low as he stepped closer to look directly into my eyes. "Just consider me to be a part of it. The Sisterhood serves me." 

I nodded, unsure of what to say.

 "Let's see," he said, walking around me, looking me up and down, pretending to think. "You asked for enough power to defeat Roy, correct?"

"How did you know?" I asked, bewildered.
