Bab 510: Becoming the Thing

Elated by the agreement of his brothers, Nevin checked the letter once again smiling at what was written in it. However, he wasn't aware of the presence of Umbra.

"Is that a love letter?" Umbra asked the moment he noticed how happy Nevin was.

"I believe it is not your business," Nevin answered back walking towards a little candle in the room. Out of necessity, he burned the letter in front of Umbra which surely made the latter curious. 

"You have a lot of time today," Nevin commented while staring at the burning paper in front of him. "In fact, you have a lot of time to be checking out on me today, Umbra," he added and glared directly towards Umbra.

"Well, it is nice to see you, Nevin," Umbra replied and walked away from the room.

As he walked along the hallway, he suddenly saw Shadow acting very wary of his surroundings. He suddenly felt like telling Shadow about what he saw just a moment ago when he was with Nevin.
