Arlo by then couldn't help but let his tears escape from his eyes. He started sobbing quietly, but as what they say, a mother senses and indeed, she does sense that something is wrong with her son.

Now the snappiness in her voice disappeared in an instant as if it was not there. Hearing his son stifle his sobs made her immediately worry for her son, knowing that they both stay in different cities.

The last time that she saw him was when Arlo visited her over the holidays with his girlfriend, Angeal.

"What's wrong? Something's up—you're crying."

She's used to Arlo calling her "mom." With him calling her "ma," it reminded her of when Arlo was younger, saying the word "ma" whenever he feels physical and emotional pain.

"Ma… I don't want to stay here in this city anymore."
