"Angeal... she hates me. She hates me..."

Devin sobbed once more. Ivar looked at Levin. Love's Overseer sighed as he put his hand on his back, comforting him. 

"Brother... she said it without knowing why you said those words to her. If she were to know once everything has been settled, she won't hate you."

"But..." Devin removed his hands on his face as he slumped on the couch's rest, "She has to. She has to hate me because if she stayed, if she knew I was lying, she would... she would..."

Devin didn't know how to end his sentence. Knowing how kind Angeal is, if she were to know that he lied about him putting her guard down just to get what he wanted, Angeal would forgive him eventually and would keep herself close with him.

He knew if she would continue being with him, if she continued being kind to him, then he wouldn't stop himself from loving her even more. 

He wouldn't keep his feelings contained for a long time.
