I haven’t been able to focus on anything the rest of the day, and now that I am waiting for Kade at this restaurant, I am extremely nervous. What are we going to do? What are we going to talk about? We can’t talk, and this makes for a big barrier. But we have been able to communicate well before, it was just a different environment and I don’t know how to handle it. Ugh, I hate not being in control.

A hand on my shoulder makes my heart stop; Kade walks from behind me and with a smile he leans down to kiss my cheek. He then seats in front of me and I remember how to speak. “Hi Kade, I am glad you made it.” Really? Glad you made it? I am so bad at this!
