I was watching her sleep while I carried her back to the house. It was the middle of the night and she was completely drained, yet she shivered when I brushed my lips against her forehead. I was proud of how she handled everything, my wolf laid relaxed with his eyes closed for the first time after who knows how long, the whole experience has taken us by surprise.

I saw Cara approaching. She walked right up to our house entry and she smiled looking at Meadow. "So you finally mated... I am happy for you, Alpha."

I smiled at her and nodded. "She was brave, so incredibly brave. Thank you so much for explaining things to her when I lacked the guts to do it myself."

"It was my duty to our future Luna, and my pleasure as well. She is your perfect match," She said with a smile.

"You did well, Cara, and I won't forget it. You can start making the preparations for our ceremony after you talk to her tomorrow." I replied before dismissing her and with a nod she left us alone.
