Bab 3: The Return

The ride to Roanoke took over half an hour, which was great so I wouldn't have to hear another word from Mary about suitors and my birthday party, what was not so great was going back to the place that brought on so many nightmares. I reach the entrance to Roanoke and dismount the Clydesdale, even he seems spooked, I walk through the gates all a familiar feeling. Just then a strange wind whips around me blowing my emerald green, high low riding dress around me pushing me farther in. i look around everything was burned to the ground except for one cottage I walk towards the cottage, when I enter its walls are lined with books, viles and bottles are stacked on shelves. cauldrons on the floor the place looks like it hasnt been untouched for years. On a table in the middle of the room there is and in the center there is a beautiful jewelry box. I open it and there is a Emerald necklace, I take it out and everything goes black as I collapse to the ground..
