Bab 40: Chapter 38
Before the the end of the party, Azazel managed to escape form Vali. "Here, it's his address, just remember to come and visit Kara sometimes, ok." I say to Vali seriously, he nods and heads off. I hope he does, Kara looked so happy to see him. I look over at her and she looks a bit sad. I walk over. "Why don't you just tell him?" I ask looking at her with a smile. "Do you think he would accept me?" She asked in a very uncharacteristic voice.
I slap her head. "If he didn't like you would he have spent the whole party talking with you, to the point that Azazel managed to escape?" I ask trying to make her think. "But I'm so much older then him, I don't want him to regret it." She said with a sad tone. "Then what you do is tell him you like him and that when he is 100% sure he likes you, then you can start dating." I said, and she just nods.
After I dealt with that, I look around and see Rias and Sona playing with Lilith. Ruby comes up from behind and takes my hand. "You know you can't help everyone, they might need a little push but you can't help them if they won't help themselves." Ruby said while leaning against me looking at the girls playing.
"I know but I just want to see my family happy, but it's not like they are human, they will be alive for thousands of years. It's just I don't want them to regret anything." I said knowing I might be trying too hard. I look around again and find Kiba and Tsubaki holding hands in corner. "Look at them, they look happy." I said to Ruby as she looks and giggles.
And a little way away form them is Koneko and Gasper, it seems they are a lot closer than I thought. "Even those two look close." I point out the two to Ruby. "Yeah didn't you know that they are dating?" Ruby asked, I was shocked, them two really. "When did that start?" I asked thinking back trying to see if I missed something. "It was only a few days ago, it was when we started school." Ruby said with a little laugh.
"Haven't you notice that Gasper hasn't worn girl's clothes for the past few days?" She asked, and looking at him now I see he was in t-shirt and jeans. "How did I not notice that?" I ask not expecting an answer. "Well you've been focused on other things." Ruby said matter of factly, I can't really argue with that I have been in my own little world. "It's good to see everyone happy." I said smiling.
"Let's go to my room, I have a theory about dust." I said pulling Ruby along. Once we reach my room, I pull out a clear crystal. "So I think that dust is just crystal's infused with mana of different elements." I said as I start to infuse fire element into it. After ten minutes it turned bright red, I pass it to Ruby to inspect. She moves it around looking at it from all angles.
"It's close but this is far more stable then dust." She said passing it back to me. I look at the crystal and just put it into my storage space and pull out another one. This time I'll try my power of destruction, and it exploded. "I guess I'll have to work on that one." I said laughing, Ruby just shakes her head and facepalms.
I heard my phone ringing, I pick it. "Hello?" I said not recognising the number. "Hello is this Miss Scarlet Gremory?" The voice asked. "Yes who is this?" I said getting ready to hang up. "Good to speak to you, I'm Michael of the angels, I got a message from Azazel that you might have a way for angels to replenish their ranks?" He asked with a soft tone.
"I do but I have to iron out the crinkles, but it's a viable option." I said truthfully. "I'll like to arrange a meeting but I'm not free until august, is that fine?" He asked, I jumped out of my seat. "Yes that's fine when you have specific date and a meeting point just send a text to this number." I said leaving the details to Michael. "I'll do that then, until our meeting then." He said and then hung up.
