Bab 31: Chapter 29
As we walk hand in hand, we take a longer route back home. Just talking about anything from guitars to weapons. We made it home in an hour, as I open the door I see Kara and remember what Ruby said. "Kara what is this about DeviTube?" I ask with a evil glint. Kara just took out her phone and snapped a picture, I look down at my hand that was still in Ruby's. "Delete it now!" I shout as Kara ran at top speed, I let go of Ruby's hand. "You can't run from me, I'm faster then you." I shout again running after her.
"So what do you have to say for yourselves?" Rias said after telling us off for destroying the front room. "It's Kara's fault, did you know she planted cameras in my room and uploaded them to DeviTube? Then took a photo of me and..." I said trailing of at the end not wanting Rias to know.
"Oh don't you want Rias to know that you and Ruby were holding hands?" Kara said with a teasing voice. "Don't worry Scarlet soon everyone will know, since I sent the photo to Sirzechs." She continued with a evil smile. "I'll get you back for this, I wonder if Vali would like those recordings of you singing in the shower." I said with an equally evil smile as I press send.
Rias ended up having a go at us for three hours straight, it's not like I meant to damage the house. Since Kara started it, I don't know why I'm being shouted at. "Rias..." I get cut off by Rias. "Both of you go to your rooms and think about what you've done." Rias said in a stern voice. I hang my head and just go to my room.
The next day after training I got a call from Azazel. "Yo Scarlet I'm in town I want to finish this research, we are so close." He said with a desperate voice. "Ok I'll head your way but I'll be bringing someone, just so you know." I said with noway he can refuse. "Any friend of yours is a friend of mine." He said. "Ok I'll just grab her and head to your place, send me the address in a text." I said and hang up before he can say anything.
I go upstairs to Ruby's room and knock. "Come in." I hear from inside the room. I open the door. "Ruby I've got to go to do some research, did you want to come with. I'll give you a basic scale to learn." I said looking up and seeing Ruby not in her usual black dress but a black skirt and a red and black striped tank top. I can't stop staring, my jaw feels like it's dislocated. Ruby looked at me with a smile. "I'm glad you like it, I bought it with the money you gave me and got Rias to bring it home." She said blushing a bit.
I gulp. "Yes it looks really good, I lov... eh I mean it suits you." I said stumbling over my words. I blush crimson. I heard a ding on my phone, Azazel sent the address. "Let's go then you'll meet a sort of friend." I said leaving the room. Oh my feel like I'm dreaming. (*Why don't you pinch yourself.*) Sera said with an teasing voice. ("What am I going to do with you Sera?") I asked not expecting an answer. I heard Sera laughing.
Ruby catches up and takes my hand in hers. I look at her and smile. She does like me, my crush in my past life actually likes me. I can't believe how fortunate I was in this life. I grip her hand tighter, and give her a smile. (*Get a room.*) Sera said still laughing, I just sigh. "What's wrong?" Ruby asked looking worried. "It's just I feel so happy right now and it's scaring me." I said not able to put it words.
"Then just feel happy, what's the point in worrying about the future?" Ruby said with her ever present smile. "Being here with you, I feel complete." I blurted out.
