When Hazel walked downstairs, Alex was already waiting for her. The man was standing under the tree inconspicuously. His head lowered to look at his phone, but the moment he sensed someone was staring at him, Alex lifted his head to look at Hazel.

Alex snapped out of his trance when he heard her voice. He turned and let out a dry cough before he looked at her again. "Nothing. Just that… you look beautiful today."
