Bab 226: Did we do this wrong

The cityscape was engulfed in madness as fire continued to crash over top. Splatters of color littered the sky with sonic booms that resounded. It drowned out the shouting, the drums of feet on the ground as people escaped their homes.

There was concern drawn upon the citizen's faces and horror that pulled at their lips and twinkled in their eyes. Children cried from the ensuing chaos while their parents scrambled to gather their most precious belongings and scoop up their little ones and run.

But despite the chaos, the ensuing mess and sudden attack, the people were hardly that disorganized. They followed the paths and allowed themselves to be guided with ease. They followed the roads without crowding and pushing and from the way everyone moved in an orderly fashion, Zhang Wang reckoned this was not their first time evacuating.

But this was definitely the first time that Renlu was attacked to this scale.
