Xuxu, by all rights, was a great student, who picked up everything that was taught to him swiftly.
He was good.
By mortal means, he was a genius even. A prodigy. But he wasn't…amazing either, at least not by the standards of gods.
Perhaps it was unreason to measure him to such a height. Not even He Nao or Zhang Wang could hold a candle to the power they once possessed as beings that occupied the heavenly realm. Perhaps all Xuxu needed was time.
He Nao looked up, feeling the sun beat upon his face. A bone-deep emptiness laid in his heart, echoing and eternal. In his past life, he never quite liked the war-god known as Lu Xumen.
A voice snapped his out of his thoughts. "Aren't you pushing him a little too hard?"
This was supposed to come out yesterday weeps but I ended up getting swallowed by work things T w T;;
This chapter, for all intent and purposes will be the last for the next 2-3 weeks so enjoyyyy. In the meantime I'll be wrapping up TTEO
