The selection that coated the table was quite impressive. From egg tarts to coconut pudding and fried sesame balls, there was barely any room left when Su Zui sat down. The snake demon frowned at the sight.

Yu Yanlin raised a brow as he sampled the red bean paste in front of him. "Do not be shy," the demon king ordered, "help yourself."

"Ah…ahaha…well, you know me, Your Majesty, my taste in food is seasonal. Sweets are for spring."

An absurd excuse, Yu Yanlin reckoned. "I said that you look fat, not that you are," he said between bites, "and do not call me that in public."

"Ah, yes, yes. Bai Hu was it? Then I shall call you Master Bai." Su Zui appeared a little hesitant but eventually decided to take a bite out of a sponge cake.
