Bab 62: Chapter 61 The Story Starts
The next day, I was reprimanded by the principal for yesterday.
"Alex, you crossed the line this time!" The principal said. I was standing in front of his desk, meanwhile, he was sitting in front of me.
"Then can I ask you, principal?" I asked.
"Go ahead." He said while nodding.
"Deku is my friend and he is quirkless, he is bullied from he was still a kid who only wants to befriend everyone. Is it wrong to defend him from a bunch of snotty kids that couldn't accomplish anything in their life? And am I wrong to teach them a lesson about don't ever underestimate anyone even if he is quirkless?" I asked. The principal's face became ugly but I didn't give him a chance to retort.
"And you are the principal, aren't you suppose to support the students that enroll in your school? Instead, you turn blind eye to Deku case, and now, you reprimanding me because I did the right thing?" I asked. I took off to exit his office but I stopped by the door.
"You are the older generation, not me. I'm disappointed by your act as a younger generation." I said. I opened the door and closed it, I walked back to class. Deku was waiting for me, it seems he knows that I got reprimanded by the principal.
"I'm sorry, Alex, that I got you to be reprimanded by the principal." He said. I smiled and hugged his shoulder. By the way, I'm 170 cm now.
"Don't be, I was the one reprimanded him so don't be sorry to me, be sorry to him instead. Hahaha~" I laughed. We walked to the class together. Himiko was looking at Bokugo with dagger eyes but when she saw me and Deku entering the class, she approached us.
"Alex, did you get reprimanded by the principal?" Himiko asked.
"Nope, I'm the one who reprimanded him, cool aight?" I said.
"As expected from Alex," Himiko said while smiling widely. She only drank my blood as mine was the tastiest to her apparently. Then the bell rang, we all took a seat and the lesson started. Then the school ended, I and Himiko went home with Deku. And this is when the plot started, as we were going home there was a green blob coming out from the sewage lid, Deku was in front of us carrying his notebook, meanwhile, I and Himiko were behind him. I extended my arm to stop Himiko and she looked at me, I mouthed.
'Don't help him.' She was confused of course because there was nothing that threatening Deku's life. Then the green blob caught Deku and tried to assimilate with him. Deku was panicking while trying to call help but he couldn't speak as the green blob was covering his mouth.
"Don't worry. I'm just going to hijack your body, calm down. It would only hurt for 45 seconds... then it will be over." The green blob said. Deku was trying to break free and he couldn't breathe also, I wanted to help him but I know if I help him, then All Might wouldn't take him as his inheritor of One For All. Himiko was looking at me wanting to help Deku but I looked at her and heavily shook my head, Himiko looked at my eyes and she knew that I wanted to help Deku but she didn't know why I didn't. The Green Blob was almost assimilated with Deku, Deku already had that kind of thoughts about before dying. Then the sewage lid flew off because of a strong gush of wind punching it and All Might came out.
"Fear not, kid!!"
"I am here." He said. Then he punched the green blob while saying his moves.
"TEXAS... SMASH!" Then Deku passed out because of insufficient oxygen in his body or brain. I stayed hidden with Himeko and just watched the whole thing. All Might took out his empty bottle and put in the green blob which has eyes on it, then he looked at the note at the ground. he took the note and signed on it, then he tried to wake Deku up by slapping his cheeks.
"Wha~?" Deku said. He partially conscious but looking All Might in front of him made him excited.
"Thank goodness. bla bla bla bla" He said. Basically he apologized to Deku for getting him to involve in his villain hunt and that wasn't his usual style while posing. Deku was a fanboy of All Might so he was thinking about All Might is really in front of him.
"My success here is all thanks to you!! I've contained the villain!!" He said. He took out the bottle that contains the green blob with eyes. Then Deku searched for his notebook to be signed by All Might but All Might already signed the notebook.
"Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! This will be my heirloom." Deku said while bowing repeatedly.
"Now I must bring this fellow to the authority! You can watch me on the Tv!!" He said. Then he took a squat form to jump and continued.
"A pro battles not only enemies, but also time." He said. Deku was still want to ask many questions so he grabbed unto All Might's foot and All Might jumped. I and Himiko looked at them.
"So is this why you let Deku alone?" Himiko asked.
"Yes." I said. I grabbed her waist and followed them by moving in the shadow with Darkness Magic. All Might was surprised to find Deku was grabbing unto his foot and he landed at a roof. He was angry because he has limited time to transform and Deku is in the way to catch the villain. And so Deku found out about All Might's true appearance and got to know about his secret also. Deku asked him about becoming a hero like All Might but All Might revealed more secret about his smile was for a way to overwhelm the pressure and fear he face. He said to Deku lastly about A pro should be ready to risk his life to save others and made Deku more depressed by saying a hero without power shouldn't be a hero or even couldn't. All Might left and Deku was on the roof alone, as All Might walking down the staircase he found out that the bottle containing the green blob is gone.
And the rest was about Deku seeing Bakugo in danger and he rushed to help him even if he is quirkless. All Might saw his braveness and his attitude that only a small number of pro heroes have, willing to risk their lives to save others. All might forcefully transformed and punched the green blob. And so the other pro heroes cleaned things up, Deku and Bakugo head home but Bokugo stopped Deku.
"HEY, DEKU!! I never asked you to save me, and bla bla bla bla." Bokugo said. So basically Bokugo said about he never asked to be saved by Deku, and if Deku could, he would have been also beaten him. Then about a quirkless failure like Deku pity him and he said that Deku shouldn't mock him, basically, he tried to get that worthless broken pride of his to get fixed up by mocking Deku. Then he left the scene, All Might appear from behind a wall and asked him to his inheritor. Deku cried as he could become a hero that everyone said that he couldn't because he's quirkless. I and Himiko appeared behind the wall and listened to their conversation. When All Might asked Deku about is he ready to face the challenge and Deku agreed, I walked out from the wall and looked at both of them.
"Don't worry, Deku. I will help you," I said. All Might became vigilant towards me and is ready to transform, meanwhile, Deku is surprised by my sudden appearance.
"Don't worry, All Might. I'm a friend of Deku and I'm not here to hurt anyone, and if I wanted to, I could have destroyed this planet or kill All For One right now." I said. All Might became more vigilant and transformed, he looked at me.
"Who are you?" He said.
"I'm Alex Walsh," I said. Deku blocked All Might from attacking me and supported me.
"All Might, he's my friend. He's the only one who wanted to become my friend even if I am quirkless." Deku said. All Might transformed back but coughed blood, I looked at him and used Time Magic to return his state to 3 hours ago. He looked at me with terror on his eyes.
"All Might, what should I call you?" I asked.
"My name is Toshinori Yagi, you can call me Toshinori." He said.
"Toshinori, I'm going to help you train Deku to the limit of his mental," I asked. I looked at Deku and asked.
"Deku, do you want to be strong, stronger than anyone?"
"Yes, Alex. I want to be stronger to save people and their smiles." He said. His eyes were determined and fiery also.
"Great and Toshinori, don't tell anyone about my power as I will showcase it when it's exam test," I said. All Might nodded at my request.
"Now, let's go home."
