Bab 32: Chapter 31 Managing the 'Soul world'
When I woke up, I was alone in the bed which was weird because Utaha would slept with me if I'm at the 'Soul world'. It was already midday when I woke up so it's understandable if there's no one in my bed, I washed my face and went to the living room. The girls were there discussing something which made all of them to have serious faces including Aisha also who doesn't have feelings for me yet (AN: Maybe but I don't know.).
The girls noticed me and they greeted me and I greeted them back, Chloe hugged me and she was having stars in her eyes, she said
"NYA! Alex, you were so cool yesterday! You were dominant nya~ so charming~ Can you be dominant at bed too?" But she was grabbed by Ryuu by the back collar and thrown into the wall beside me
"ACK!!! NYA! WHAT WAS THAT FOR RYUU?!" She said, as she hugged her head which hit the wall and had glassy eyes, Ryuu said
"Alex is still pressured with the fact his first time killing a person." Then she showed me a concerned face and hugged me, and continued
"He should be comforted not being invited to the bed." She said while bringing away from Chloe but I stopped her and freed myself.
"Alright alright, I'm good now so you don't have to worry about me." I said, I walked towards Chloe and patted her head, she was showing a cheeky wide smile to the other girls. The others were jealous of course didn't get a pat except for Aisha, she was just a bystander or a third wheeler at this point, and Ryuu went to me,
"Alex pat me too." She said, then I patted her head and the others followed her and asked for a pat, I patted all of their head and went to the kitchen to cook something. I mean my cooking skill was MAXed out, I cooked eggs with salt, pepper, and soy sauce and eat it with rice. After I finished, I joined the discussion what the girls talking about so seriously, I said
"Well, why are you guys are so serious today?"
"We're talking about the people that we saved yesterday even if we give them a brand new life what will they do for us?" Ryuu asked. They are true at that point as there's no free food in the world but at the same time this world's era too different with the modern era, they haven't know about industrial and civil worker so they have some problem to integrate them to be more useful or you can say repay us. Still though even though I know Industrial and civil worker, I still don't have any idea which things that will be produced here. I still don't have competent staff to teach them also but I do want to teach them so when I went to a different world they could infiltrate the government over there or made businesses that could benefit me in that world. I mean let's say I went into Harry Potter world then I would make my people to make some businesses there and invest on brands that will be the game-changer in the future then after finishing everything I would call my people back and took all of the money and just poof gone, it's stealing but legally.
"Well Utaha you already know my thoughts so you could fill me in after I explain things to the others. So as you know that I'm from another world, that world was more advanced than this world and so I need the people here to get used to the modern world as I will integrate the economics to be like modern society. Even though I successfully integrated the economics to be like modern society, I still don't know whether they will get used to it or not as they are fighters and adventurers, not workers. That's why I think that these majority of people will automatically enter the military because they felt weird if they don't go and fight and I do love it but I need to make society first not the military."
"That's why I decided to give them a chance to enter the military but not kids, kids will be going to schools and of course the school will be free. I want the kids to be taught morality overall not numbers, swords, magic, or science but morality first, I don't give a damn about his intelligence if he doesn't have a good personality but at the same time, the school will teach (or brainwash) the kids to be loyal to the 'Soul world' and us but cunning and deceive to the outside world, in the future, they will be the one who will come with us and infiltrate the government and make businesses. And I'm the one who decides their lifespan we could just make my people to be immortal, to be 20 years old forever or just the age they want to be but I don't want them to suffer at the same time so we'll give them the option to retire and have the normal lifespan like humans do and die as a human."
"For those who don't want to join the military can become a worker, civil worker, or anything as long they are productive in the future, or they could learn politics, economics, investing, etc. and come with us. We will be opening a wide range of occupations and encourage them to do anything they want unless something that's bad for the 'Soul world' or to us." there were still many things needed to be talked but it's too long and too much for the girls who spent their whole life in a whole different era. After they processed the whole information, we gathered the people and announced what we discussed in the living room. All of them cheered and had my tattoo in their shoulder which means they have unlimited potential.
I sold the magic cores in my inventory first to get enough Points, then Utaha made the military base and training grounds, then a school and bought furniture for the school, basic necessities to take notes, or learn in the school and distributed them to the kids. The assassins, Gintoki, and Saber will be teaching the military about their skills, and people who mastered their skills will replace them to be the teacher or mentor of the new future recruits. I summoned some legends in WW2 and in the modern world also to teach the military about their skills too and bought guns and vehicles from the modern world even though in the future we'll manufacture the weapons ourselves and develop it. I summoned teachers to teach the kids at school, magic instructors in every respective area, and also weapon instructors also for the school so they know what they good at but not guns. And I summoned the ones who are good at politics, entrepreneurs, investors, etc.
Then the kids that were an orphan or slaved went to school as they were housed into a dorm. The people or the adults went to the military, the political school, entrepreneur school, investing school, etc. I mean the people we saved were about 10 thousand people ranging from kids to middle ages men and women, it was insane and more people will be coming here too. I set up a spot where the future citizens will be teleported to when they first coming here and they will follow the procedure to register themselves to our main data. Utaha made apartments, high buildings for office, houses, etc.
Man building society is difficult AF didn't thought this much I mean the novels I read only talk about the damn 'population control', 'farms', 'area to be lived on', etc. not the damn bottom to the top. Then I went back to the house and only Chloe followed me back, the others said that they have some business to do and so they went back to Danmachi world. I sat down at the courtyard enjoying the breeze and some tea also, Chloe joined me and said
"Alex, remember that I said that I will tell you my past when I'm ready?"
"Of course but just remember no matter how dark your past is, I don't give a damn to it. You've changed already that's why you're here today, by my side." I said.
"I was born to parents who were members of a Familia that acted as a criminal organization. I was trained to kill silently the moment I was born, as a daughter, I crave recognition from my parents and they do praise me if I can use my skills properly. I've killed many with my hand, many scums who needs to die, and I tried to kill Ryuu in the past." She said, then she became silent and looked at my expression the whole time, she was afraid that I will despise her after she revealed her past but quite the contrary, I don't give a damn even if this were Modern era I don't give a damn too since she changed to be a better person. I was looking to the front enjoying the view of the courtyard, I said
"I don't despise you or hate you and I won't. Chloe, In the future you will see that there are people who have a darker past than you, darker that they've become morally insane because of it, they embark a darker life than you. But know that you're different because you don't dwell on that path anymore and you already are one of my loved ones." Then the dragon in her shoulder opened its eyes and roared, The tattoo became a roaring dragon which was cool. Chloe looked at it and knew what it meant but I don't since I already treated Chloe as one of my loved ones from the start. She lounged at me at my surprise and said
"NYA! TAKE ME NOW ALEX!" Then Ryuu just appeared and karate chopped Chloe's head, Chloe hugged the spot where Ryuu just karate chopped
"He's still a kid wait for him till he's at age." Ryuu said. Then she looked at Chloe's tattoo and became envious at that moment because it was different from her's. She heard me saying '... one of my loved ones.' and that moment Chloe became ecstatic which made her to have a suspicion that when I admit with words that the girl is one of my loved ones the tattoo will become like Chloe's and so she wanted to confirm her suspicion,
"Alex, what am I to you?" she asked with resolute eyes which made me scared at that moment but I didn't know what I did to make her like this.
"One of important people in my life of course." I said, Ryuu frowned at my words at that very moment and I asked myself wait did I used the wrong word? then I remembered Ryuu was looking at Chloe's tattoo then I immediately said
"One of my loved ones." Then Ryuu's tattoo became like Chloe's, the tattoo was lifelike dragon opened its eyes and roared, and it was viewed from the side how cool was that? Then Ryuu became happy at that moment and it confirmed her suspicion. Thank God I have [Photographic Memory] if not I don't know what my fate would be like.
