Bab 390: Toxic Love

THUD.

That was the sound of a body hitting the floor.

But it wasn't Winter's body that hit the floor hard– it was Julian who suffered the blow because he caught Winter and protected him.

[This stupid brother…]

"Are you okay, Winter?" Julian asked, his hand protecting the back of Winter's head. "You're not hurt anywhere, are you?"

How could Winter get hurt when he was using Julian's body as a cushion? "I should be the one asking you that, Brother," he complained, getting up to lessen the burden on his brother. "I'm fine– but is your head okay? You didn't break your skull, did you?"

Julian got up while touching the back of his head. "My skull is fine."

Winter rolled his eyes at Julian's playful answer, then he stood up and offered his hand to his brother. "Let's go. I don't see Aku Moonchester anywhere."

It was clear that they were back in the Plane.
