"Huh?" I asked while I continued to wipe my mouth. The prince stood proudly before me as he twirled his halberd in his hands.

"From our fight so far I can tell that the rumors around you are not all falsehoods. Since that's the case, I want to see what you can really do. I won't be holding myself back anymore and neither should you." He finished twirling his halberd and pointed it at me.

I rolled my shoulders, cracked my neck, and smirked.

"To be entirely honest with you, prince, I don't see a reason to do that just yet."

He grimaced and leaned forward. The crowd became silent, either out of fear or simply because they wanted to listen to our conversation. Either way, they were still quiet.

"Haah…" The prince exhaled. I could see steam leave his mouth, showing the excess heat he was generating by powering up.
