Bab 361: This Hero And The Duel Rules!

My boots, made of metallic plates that were interlaced with leather, jingled with each of my steps against the stone ground beneath my feet. I didn't expect to be called in so suddenly, but this announcement was also to the surprise of everyone involved apparently. Nevertheless, the prince is a wonderful spectacle for the people to watch. Even with this short term of an announcement, people will pile inside of this arena without worry.

My job, as always, was to send criers out onto the streets to announce this duel. Apparently, some upstart from the city of Ruks has been challenged by the prince himself to duel. The imbecile accepted the duel, as most imbeciles do, and is now waiting in the dungeon of the arena where we typically keep humanoid monsters for exhibition matches.

Now I'm on my way to that dungeon area.
