Bab 356: This Hero And The Party’s End!

Ryujin looked over the partying guests while they made no effort to notice him other than passing glances. I, meanwhile, approached him after I grabbed two glasses of alcohol.

"Ryujin-san! It's good to see you. I didn't get to speak with you very much earlier, but now that we're at a party we can talk a little bit more! Thank you for the invitation."

Ryujin turned his gaze towards me and then looked at the glasses in my hands.

"Are one of those for me?" He asked. His deep voice rippled throughout the room.

"Yes. Would you like one?"

Ryujin smiled and shook his head. "No. I hope this does not upset you, but I do not partake in alcoholic beverages. I appreciate your action, however."

Ryujin called over a servant who collected the drink that he would not have.

"I'm sorry that I did not know that. Had I known I would not have made such an error." I bowed my head to him.
