Bab 327: Why Are You Fighting?

In a duel of magical abilities, one must strike fast and precisely if they wish to win. Mana is a limited resource, and even though I have an utterly absurd amount of it within me at the moment, that does not mean that I am capable of using all of it frivolously.

My father is incredibly experienced when it comes to magical duels as well. I have already faced him once before, but that was practice. This is a real battle with real stakes.

The first to move and land the first blow will be the victor, thus both of us cannot act without thought.
