Bab 161: Party Split! Kany and Tael!

Kenji finished declaring our plans as he stepped next to Erana. Kany and I gave each other quick glances before we both seemed to silently agree to go along without much of a fuss.

We walked towards the fork in the path. When we arrived, Kenji placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Remember, if you have any problems at all, use Mind Connection. I'll be there as fast as I can."

I looked towards him and nodded.

"Same to you. If you need us, we'll be there."

He smiled and turned to Erana.

"Let's go." He motioned as they began heading to the right.

I turned to look at the shortest member of our party. The girl that I still have a bit of awkward energy with.

Ugh… It's only now that I've actually had time to reflect on just how awkward I was. She probably thinks I'm a weirdo or something…

"So the stairs were to the left, right?" Kany asked me.

"Wha- Oh… uh… I think so?"
