Bab 142: This Hero Versus Yarg!

After my declaration, the room fell into an unpleasant silence. I stared down Yarg as he lowered his gaze towards the ground.

After a moment, Yarg began to stroke at his beard, which was unnaturally short for a dwarf, before he spoke.

"Oh, is that so?" He asked.

I slowly nodded in response. It's probably best not to say anything right now.

There was a small pause before Yarg lowered his shoulders and let out an exaggerated sigh. Something about how he moved felt strange to me, so I tightened my grip on my sword.

Then, it felt as if time slowed down.

I watched Yarg begin to glow red. In my mind, I already knew that he had activated Style: Attacker. I instantly activated Style: Defender in retaliation as he launched himself towards me.
