He could feel his body act in reflex to stop that thing from passing his throat, as he needed to surpass his reflex, and then force the level 3 'herb root' down his throat.

That just made things worse for him, but there was nothing else he could do about it, this thing was supposed to be really precious and necessary for him.

He had to control the urge he had to throw it up as soon as he swallowed it down, but he managed to control himself, and concentrate on what would happen inside his conscience sea.

  There was no way it was going to be easy, as even the level 2 'herb roots' were really dangerous with the remnant soul pieces, not to mention that this level 3 'herb root' had gained sentience.
