Bab 115: Figment of His Imagination

Flames rise into the night as if they challenge the heavens to stop their consumption of what was the familiars' home and place of sanctuary.

Seeing the fires engulf almost every house found in the small village which seemed to be for the Fire Familiars, Aranea widened her eyes in panic, this level of Metanoia different from the other two she experienced.

Aranea looked around her, her eyebrows knitted with worry as the Fire Familiars ran away, crying as they didn't know what to do with the fire that was happening in the village since it came from them itself—the fire power brimming in resilience as it continued to burn their very homes.

At this moment, Aranea remembered what Darenn and Moler had told them. This is what they meant when they say that some levels of the Metanoia are dangerous and if ever the Summoner is harmed, it would be the cause of his or her death.
