Bab 321: It's About Time

Sarah was at home on her couch going back and forth between texting Michael and watching Tik-Toks when she saw that Alex and Claire got engaged. It was about time—those two already basically had their own little family with Ethan—but they had probably been waiting until she was closer to being done with school.

She still had a year left after this and wasn't terribly happy about that fact. Partly because she wanted to get out into the workforce already but mostly because she missed her boyfriend. Seeing him on the weekends wasn't enough to sustain her throughout the week.

How was she supposed to do this for another year, let alone on a permanent basis when he went flying all over the place half of the time? She knew she could get caught up in her goals too but still…
