Bab 7: Exploring the new world
"What do you all think about the S rankers?" Ryoku asked Kasel, Ruru, and Elena. Kasel and Ruru immediately responded with the word 'strong'.
"Can you believe that we will have to fight like that in the near future?" He stated while sweating a bit.
Elena kept walking silently. They arrived home and Lewis was waiting for them at the doorstep.
"Welcome back young masters. Would you like to eat lunch or take a bath before that?" Lewis asked in a deep voice.
"We will take a bath first," Kasel said before going to his room. Everyone then went to their room.
"I wish I could become like the S rankers. But I can't even heal…" Ryoku thought to himself as he removed his clothes to go into the bath.
"Guess I have to learn swordsmanship at least before getting an idea of how to use my power"

He tried random chants when he was in the bath, but it didn't work.
He got out of the bath and went down for lunch. Kasel was already there eating lunch while Ruru and Elena hadn't arrived.
"Sure girls take a lot of time to bathe," Ryoku thought to himself.
"Kasel, I have a favor to ask from you"
"Hmm? Sure what's it"
"I….. want to learn to use a sword properly. Would you teach me?"
"Huh? Why ask. Of course, I will if you want to learn."
"Let's do it at night then"
"Seems good to me"
After the conversation, they both ate their lunch and went back to their rooms. Ruru and Elena did the same.
Ryoku and Ruru both thought it would be a waste if they were not to explore this world.
Ryoku was the first one to propose that they should go out. He asked Lewis to arrange for clothes for them.
Lewis followed the instruction and brought them the normal daily life clothing of people in the kingdom. They looked very fancy. Ryoku's upper dress was a combination of white and blue while the bottom dress was red-colored with even black stripes.
Kasel's upper dress was a combination of red and tint of orange. They resembled the T-shirts in their world but it was a bit different. It had a scarf-like thing attached to it which was actually an artifact that provides a little magic resistance to the wearer.
Ruru and Elena had almost the same type of dress. The only difference was the color combination used. While Ruru was wearing a skirt-like dress which was a perfect combination of red and black. Elena, on the other hand, wore a skirt-like dress which was entirely white with golden lines near the sleeves.
And so, after changing, Ryoku went to Lewis to ask what was the currency used there.
Lewis informed that Magic Crystal was used as a currency in this world. He also said that heroes are given 1000 crystals per month. Ryoku asked, "what can 1 magic crystal fetch?"
Lewis replied, "Usually 50 magic crystals should be enough to buy clothes. One magic crystal can be an equivalent exchange for 40-60 bronze coins."
Now, any anime enthusiast could tell the currency which they followed were bronze, silver, and gold. And there should be one more extra currency.
"How many magic crystals are worth one gold coin?"
"Gold coin? You must be kidding. Gold is a rare resource. It's not something we make coins on. However, silver coins do exist." Lewis said stolidly.
"2 magic crystal is an equivalent exchange of a silver coin. Food for survival only needs 10 bronze coins. Though it's different if you dine in noble restaurants. They charge from a few silvers to a hundred silvers. Also, one silver coin is equal to 100 copper coins" Lewis added.
Ryoku gave a thought about it and asked Lewis to give 100 magic crystals to him. He also asked if there was an exchange center around this area. In addition to this, he also asked if there was a way people could earn Magic crystals. Lewis informed Ryoku that magic crystal is the core of magic beasts. They have mana stored in them and thus worth that much. Also, there was one which was near them
After hearing that, Ryoku took the hundred magic crystals and set off with everyone. First, he went towards the exchange center and got the crystals exchanged for coins. After the exchange, he had 120 silver coins for the rate 1 magic crystal is equal to 60 copper coins. Though, he changed 20 silver coins to get copper coins. He now had 100 silvers and 2000 copper coins. Of course, they weren't 2000 literal coins, he had 20 coins with one coin value of 100 coppers.
"All right, where do you guys want to go?" Ryoku asked after he was done arranging the currency.
"Garden or a park?"
"Shopping Mall!"
Elena remained silent which kinda tensed Ryoku.
"Well then, let's go do some shopping first," Ryoku said as they walked on the road. They met a random stranger on the road and asked if there was a Shopping center around. The man told them to go straight from here and take a left then take a second right and there is a shopping center there. They followed his instructions and did reach the shopping mall.
The mall was very big and full of hustle and bustle. It was grand from inside. Many events were taking place in the mall. Magic demonstrations. There were some Anti-magic demonstrations too. They claimed that magic was dangerous for human society and that It should be banned.
But they turned a blind eye to them and entered a clothes shop first. They reviewed various types of different clothes. Each unique and beautiful. Then they went to the next store which was an ornament store. They had a different variety of gems. The design of each ring was different. Ruru and Elena were really in love with the rings. Kasel enjoyed watching them. Ryoku informed Kasel that he will be back soon.
Ryoku strolled a bit on different floors of the mall until he came across one shop. The items on display were extremely gorgeous. But, the people turned a blind eye to the shop.
Ryoku entered the shop and started inspecting the things. He came across a jade necklace which he thought was very pretty. He thought it would look perfect on Ruru. He asked the man who was the owner of the shop. He said it was 10 silvers. This shocked him. Even the rings were of 30 silvers while he is asking for 10 silvers for a Jade necklace. However, Ryoku did buy it. Not one but two. One for Elena and one for Ruru.
And then he returned to the ornament store and approached Ruru. "Here, have this." He said while giving the necklace to her.
"Thank you!" Ruru exclaimed.
*Here, this one is for you" He said as he extended his hand towards Elena.
"M-me?" She asked stuttering.
"Yup, for you." He said before placing it down on her hand.
"T-thank you"
After that, they left the shopping center and went to the garden which was nearby the shopping center.
