Reinhart turned to the Head Maid. "Can we get some ice? Her cheeks are still red. And an ointment as well. Thank you."

The Head Maid did not treat Reinhart as a stranger and followed his instruction.

Tim's eyes constricted. This old uncle was even ordering their maids like it was his own house. However, he did not complain. He too felt that her mother's hurt cheeks should be treated.

Liam was surprised. Treating her red cheeks just because of a not-so-hard slap would be an overkill!

"It's okay. You don't have to bother yourself. I did not slap myself hard. There's no need for treatment-"

"No, mom. We should treat it."

"It's still red. It must have hurt."

Tim and Reinhart looked at each other. Sparks seemed to fly from Tim's eyes. He looked at Reinhart with apprehension.

This old uncle...was no doubt hitting on his mother.

Reinhart just stared at the kid with many thoughts.
