It has been a year since Arata joined the school and everyday life in Aldera had returned since a while ago.
Katsugi returned to be the school king and Izuku stayed the same as always. At the bottom.
Nothing really changed. Well, beside Katsuki regularly challenging Arata to spar against him, which was usually turned down by him.
This was something of a curiosity for Izuku though. Why? Arata was the only person Katsugi didn't refer as an 'extra'. So, he probably saw him as someone that deserved his respect. That happened rare enough, but he was happy that his former childhood friend had someone he can see on eye level with.
The only problem was the still intense bullying that continued like always. It was painful, unbearable, but his dream of being a hero held his sanity. The hopes that something would change one day still burned in him everlastingly as day one.
He wouldn't give up just yet. One day he can be a hero, he will be a hero! Just as his role model, All Might, smiling while saving people from mortal peril. That was his dream.
Well, the bullying was still on the same level as before Arata transferred to Alder, but there was a little tiny difference in comparison to before.
Arata coming in to save him occasionally. Well, more or less. Arata didn't interfere directly when he got bullied, but more often than not he would just coincidentally run the group of them over the way, distracting Katsuki a bit.
Usually with Katsuki trying to challenge Arata. As always, Arata would refuse, but there were the occasional events of him inviting Katsuki to some juice, or maybe some melon bread, if they were in the area to buy that stuff.
Arata was an enigma for Izuku to be honest. He was a handsome, athletic, intelligent guy. He was someone that the entire school learned to respect after his year in Aldera. Especially the guys that still challenged him, despite him being able to go toe to toe with Katsuki spread his reputation further.
After a while he earned the title 'Joker of Aldera', this name spread even to other schools. Of course, there always were these turf incidents where students from other school came and fought for the 'honor' of their school, but Arata rarely gave two shits about them.
Well, that was until there was the danger of property being involved. He would come then and beat out the shit of these reckless idiots, but more than that he seemed like a guy that just was here to pass time, nothing more, nothing less.
He didn't care getting chummy with the guys, he didn't care about the dozens of love letters he would get every morning, he didn't care what his teachers fought of him and he didn't care what image he had in front of everyone.
He just seemed like an observer. Just being there to observe the story, the story of Aldera Junior High. Even though he was so involved here at Aldera, it seemed like it would make no visible difference if he would go now. Simply because Arata didn't care enough to get invested here.
Even though he could be so popular here, he chose to sit on his secret place on the roof of the school. Enjoying his peace and quiet. That was the Arata that Izuku observed for all these months and as that he wrote that into his notebook.
Everything about Arata seemed to be a mystery for him. He basically knew nothing about this guy. Not his habits, not his preferred things, not even his detailed physical traits. He only knew his appearance and that was it.
Izuku even theorized what possible quirks Arata could have had, to be so strong. From simple muscle strengthening up to something ridiculous like time delay Izuku theorized about everything, but nothing seemed to really fit and the few ideas that did somewhat weren't a fit too. That was what his gut told him anyways.
After a while he stopped mulling over Arata. What would be the point anyways? At the end it still would be only theories. Just like the identity of his favorite musician! Seigi Akane, she too was a massive enigma under her fans, but what would be the point of mulling over? At the end if she won't confirm the stuff it will just stay as that.
Wild, stupid theories. He was currently listening to her track 'The Stars above me shine with Hope'.

It was one of the pieces that were in her second album that she just released. It still wasn't the 'Save our Souls' everyone wanted, but it was still pretty good.
It was a refreshing upbeat melody, showing that a journey can be really fun, if you would just try to enjoy it. It was one of the melodies that always seemed to manage to cheer him up and for that he appreciated that piece.
Suddenly he heard a crash, followed by a commotion and a crowd gathering. This could only mean one thing! A villain appeared! Izuku ran excitedly into the crowd, not wanting to miss the scene!
He was a hero geek after all! How could he let an opportunity like this miss!
"Who is fighting!?"
He shouted excitedly into the crowd, not really needing it, because he basically already knew the entire hero registration list from memory, by heart.
It was Kamui Wood, a relatively new hero, currently having a rise in popularity.
"Wow! This is Kamui Wood, he is a young talent experiencing a surge of popularity!"
Unexpectedly some guy listened to Izuku ranting and of course asked him a question regarding that.
"Hey, you know a lot about him! You would not be a fan of him?!"
The fact that someone listened in to him talking and the misunderstanding embarrassed him a bit. In this moment he was pretty sure that he should remove his habit of talking his thoughts out loud, he didn't want something like this to happen again.
"Ah, no, not really."
Suddenly he had the gut feeling that something would happen in a minute, he looked at Kamui Wood and saw that he us going to use one of his special moves.
"Ah! Here it is! The famous 'Absolute Preemptive Confinement...'."
"...LACQUERED CHAINS PRISON!"
Izuku was excited seeing a genuine special move from a professional hero. It was always exciting to see one.
Sadly, before Kamui Wood got finish his move someone came in for the kill steal...
"CANON CANYON!"
"First Form: LACERATE!"
...or better said, two persons came in to steal the kill from Kamui Wood.
The first one was a giant woman, dressed in a tight bodysuit that showed her womanly curves. Her long boots, gloves and most of the upper body part were colored violet. She also wore a violet mask with horns on her face, probably there to conceal her identity.
She basically showed her butt off in her ginormous form, resulting in dozens of people starting to take a picture from her with any device they currently had available.
The second person was a very young girl, probably still in her teens. Wearing a green hoodie on her upper body that was pulled over her head and a rainbow-colored scarf hiding the rest of her face.
Izuku heart started to beat faster. Why? It was a simple reason.
"Isn't that Hero Hunter 'Glow'? What is he doing here in broad daylight? Didn't he normally only operate during nights?"
The crowd started to whisper under each other.
"Yeah, isn't that him? Isn't that his signature green hoodie and rainbow scarf?"
"What about that attack, wasn't it brutal? Such a big red beam?"
"Isn't he like extremely dangerous, I heard he started to increase his hunt on heroes in the last time."
"Yeah I heard that too..."
And many more rumors about 'Glow' were exchanged under each other. The crowd was getting excited.
"Well, I just started today. But look what we have here, I didn't expect to get such a big fish like you on land, 'Glow'. Anyways, I am called 'Mount Lady'! Pleased to make everyone's acquaintances as a newbie on scene!"
"What a nasty move. You basically stole the last hit from 'Kamui Woods', how nasty is that? Hogging all the fame while he did all the hard work."
Mount Lady chocked by these words.
"You aren't better, you basically did the same as me!"
Glow chuckled deviously. She just stepped into her trap card.
"Well, I did, but there is a huge difference between the both of us."
Glow pointed at Mount Lady.
"You are a hero, sworn to protect the citizen of the city. What you did was completely unnecessary and dirty, because this had literally no visible result. The only effect it has was you getting all the fame and attention Kamui Wood would have gained. You can't also say that you were helping a comrade in need, because for everyone here looking at this scene it was obvious that he had this fight in the back. And on a site note, you just destroyed all the buildings were that guy just landed."
Glow pointed at the block beside her. The building was utterly crushed.
"This is probably a few millions worth of yen in collateral damage."
Mount Lady wanted to refute the words of Glow, but as always, they interrupted the words before the hero could utter them. Glow now pointed at himself.
"As for me. I am the vigilante 'Glow', the vigilante that is basically regarded as a villain, because of his hobby to spar with some heroes, gaining the infamous name 'hero hunter'. Geez, the government should seriously chill out for a minute. All I am doing is fight heroes, until they can't fight anymore. I didn't kill anyone, nor did get any of these guys go out with serious injuries when fighting me. Hell, they could even resume duty the next day! But no, bad boy 'Glow' attacked some heroes in a fair duel after he asked nicely and now the government is coming back at me, classifying me as a damn villain and giving me a damn head bounty!"
At this point Glow was shouting their words and everyone on the scene started to sweat. All the things glow said were true and everyone got the picture of him wanting attention so he can clear his name. Everyone felt his pain and looked at him with a bit of pity.
"I mean I understand that the work as a damn vigilante in frowned upon, and that the government doesn't look too kindly on us. But hot damn! What the hell am I doing wrong? I clear the shit gangs inside of the poorer districts of this city. I immobilize them and then send messages to the police to apprehend that hideout. I prevent that people get violated on the streets, I prevent robbery, murder, arson, and drug dealing every single damn day! I do this shit because someone damn needs to do that there! But no! Nothing, no hero patrols, no checking the institution there, no decent police booths until you get out of there! What is this shit! I didn't care that the newspapers were wrecking my damn name! Calling me troublemaker and all, that I am a kid doing illegal stuff because they want get attention! I didn't care about a single thing about that, because I knew I was doing the right thing. Being there for people that really needed a hero some time, despite we basically having a damn hero influx, because every damn kid dream to be one!"
Glow, kicked a rock into the air in rage.
"But I felt that I weren't up to the task being all alone! So, I decided to ask some heroes to give me some pointers, to maybe patrol there too, so that a lone kid like me didn't have to. But guess what happens!"
The rock fell back down and Glow caught it, before compressing it so hard it turned into dust.
"He immediately started to attack me. Assault me, tried to apprehend me because I was a vigilante and did some illegal activities. So of course, I then started to spar him. It was underwhelming! I managed to put him out of commission without injuring him too much."
Glow threw the stone dust in the air above their head.
"What the fuck! Some of the underlings if these thugs that I fight on a daily basis were stronger than him. Was this really a professional hero? Anyways I tried again and again, and now I have a damn bounty on my head! What is this burning heap of cowcrap! And for what I am here now? Isn't that obvious enough? My next target of question would have been Kamui Wood! After all he is a new hero, so he might have listened to me, but no! This just had to be the day were a fight is ongoing, so I thought I could talk to him earlier if I eliminated the trouble."
Glow started to gasp for air after their speech. It was impressive how long they could talk on like that despite everything.
"So now I am here, giving a damn explanation to a hero that doesn't have something to do but steal the prey of another hero! What kind of first world problem is this when heroes are fighting each other for the villains?"
Everyone started to look in shame away from the person. People were currently struggling and the only one that helps them was currently condemned by the government, trying to clear their name.
"FUCKING BULLSHIT! Use your time better and help people that are truly in need! If you excuse me now, despite everything, I am still a young brat and doing an all-nighter is extremely taxing. Bye."
And with that 'Glow' disappeared. Everyone was surprised on that day of their outbreak and started to post their speech all over on social media, needlessly to say it was spread very far.
------------------------------------------------------------------
In a back alley somewhere:
"Chara, you are aware that you are now going to get massive trouble from the government, right?"
"Of course, I do."
"Are you aware of the consequences? Nobody will be able to help you if they start targeting you."
"Just shut up, be silent and change into the school uniform. I planned on dying on disappearing from the scene anyways, so don't worry."
"Die!?"
"You know, faking my death. I am going to be so excited once the government is getting so massively shit stained because of my death."
"You have a plan, right?"
"More or less. I hope that wakes this would wake these jerks up. Public safety in really low after all in that area."
"You are probably not going to change anything though."
"Happens, humans are selfish jerks after all. Especially if they gain power. Most of them just can't resist the temptations and abuse their power."
"Well, I hope you are going to be successful with this, that district desperately needs security."
"I hope so too."
Almost there, only a little bit! Come on! I am getting a bit impatient!
Dammit, I still planed all of that shit, didn't I?
