Bab 89: Unimportant Person
On the backstage, I was sitting while waiting until it's my turn to fight. I honestly don't understand how this works, I didn't pay any attention to what Julian said about it. The point is I'm going to fight some students until I eliminated all of the students.
I saw the students who participated stared at me with twinkle on their eyes.
I stared at them sarcastically.
They're about to get beaten by me, why are they so excited?
"Master Ezra Conover?"
I slightly jolted when the host called my name.
"Oh, yes!" I hurriedly walked toward her.
The host smiled and pointed at the middle of the stage in front of us. "Have fun~,"
"Thank you," I smiled at her back.
When I walked to the middle of the stage, the students did the biggest hurrah I've ever heard.
... Hm, nevermind. My demons are louder than them.
"Ezra! Ezra!"
"Kyaaah!"
"Notice me, Ezra!"
"No! He's mine!"
Sweat dripped from my cheek when I saw some of the crowd started to fight. I ignored them and looked at my opponent.
"Ack,"
"Hehe,"
It's that prick. Hmm, what's his name again?
He pointed at me confidently. "If I win this fight, be my friend!"
"Ha?" I blinked.
"Boo!"
"You're going to lose!"
"Go back home to your mama!"
The students boo-ed my opponent. He only glared at the crowd.
I don't care about the boos or this guy's rambling. I'm too focused on finding out his name. Silver hair, cocky smile. I've seen him somewhere.
"Ready? and, fight!"
The host's cue caused the silver-haired boy to make his move. He smirked wickedly. His entire body emitted a subtle glow, then threw his arms up. Slowly an air started to spiraling around his palm. "Hmm," I only narrowed my eyes.
Damn it, what's his name?
"Focus my adorable master~"
Ah, this lavender scent. I looked in front of me to see Lavender just blocked my opponent's attack.
She's in invisible mode, so it looked like the wind just dispersed.
My opponent looked shocked, the same as the crowd.
"Woah, what just happened?!"
"I didn't even see him lift a finger!"
"That's the power of the Coordinator!"
"H-How?" My opponent's eye twitched.
I kept staring at him, then crossed my hands while furrowing my brows. Yes, I've met him somewhere.
Lavender looked at me curiously. "Master master~ should I kill him? what should I do?"
"Uh, just make him fall down I guess. But not too hard," I said nonchalantly.
"Okie~" Lavender chirped happily and charged to my opponent.
"?!"
Lavender, in a rapid speed, pushed the silver-haired boy to the ground by grabbing his neck.
"Waugh?!" He screamed.
The crowd goes wild.
I widen my eyes when I finally figure out who he is.
"Oh! you're Corben!"
"You were thinking about figuring out who I was this entire time?!"
