In the town of Saffron, a middle aged lady goes to the Crow Delivery Services to give them a "special" package. The man in front of the desk gives a curious look.
"You sure you want to send this to your daughter, " asked the man.
The lady gave her a mischievous grin, "Not exactly to my daughter, but to someone who knows her. Her Master."
"Wow, you must have some grudge to give this to a Prince of the Light Kingdom, " he said in surprise.
"Not a grudge, my friend. A bet, " she says while chuckling.

I was hanging out with Lu and my retainers in my room, when a crow messenger gave a special delivery box to Roselina. She looked obviously confused as she tried to inspect the package in her hands.
"Your mother sent you a package from your hometown?"
"Yeah, which is strange since my mother has never given me a package before, " Roselina said a little skeptical, "It's usually my older sisters who get packages from my mother."
"Well, what usually happens when your mother gives a package, " Lu asks Roselina curiously.
Roselina opens the package as she looks to Lu, "Well it usually means that-."
Before she could finish saying anything she looks at the opened package to reveal a book called "Game Master" and she tosses it across the room almost immediatly.
"NO! NO! NO! ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW, " she screamed in fear.
"Why? It's just a-."
She uses her magic to pull me away from the book, "DON'T TOUCH IT! YOU MIGHT OPEN IT!"
All four of us looked at Roselina in shock and in pure confusion. In all the time I've known her, I've never seen her so scared of anything. At best, she was normally scared of her own clumsiness.
"That book... is the Game Master Book..., " she explained to everyone, "One of the 7 Mystery Curses..."
"THE 7 MYSTERY CURSES, " Lu and Lazarus screamed in fear, "SEND THAT BOOK BACK! SEND THAT BOOK BACK!"
"Huh? Is it that bad?"
Lu grabs hold of my shoulders and shakes me violently, "OF COURSE IT'S BAD! IT'S VERY BAD!"
"T-The 7 Mystery Curses are 7 dark magical a-artifacts made by Discord, The Sorcerer of Chaos, " Lazarus added, "They say whoever solves one of the artifacts, gains untold dark magic and spellcasting knowledge but should the person fail, will be cursed to suffer for eternity that even the afterlife won't stop it's pain."
I looked at the book, before Silver decides to take it away, "I'll wrap it up and send it back tomorrow. It's far too dangerous and risky to have it here in the Light Kingdom."
He leaves as I continue to think about the book the entire day, even after the hangout was done. I went through other books in the castles library to look up information about the 7 Mystery Curses. Nothing. I knew I couldn't talk about the 7 Mystery Curses, since everyone seems to be frightened about it. I gave up at sunset and decided to sleep in early.
"Maybe I'll check the Dark Kingdom's library tomorrow..."
Finally, night rolls around, and I hear a voice calling to me outside my bedroom chambers. And as if my body moved on it's own, I followed it. It lead me to the place where the book was being kept, and I turned around to reveal a young boy with white hair. I've never seen anyone like him in the Light Kingdom, but he also doesn't look to be a threat either. I kept my guard up as he phased through me and through the door. What the heck?! Was he a g-ghost?! But he came back, holding the Game Master Book in hand. He ran away, but I tried to chase him all the the way to the top of the castle. I tried to grab him, but I missed and began to fall off the castle.
"I d-don't know how to transform yet! And I can't swim either, even if I did survive such a fall! What am I going to do?! I-I'm gonna die again! I... I can't die again!"
"Then open the book..., " a voice called out.
"I-If I open the book though-!"
"Either accept your fate of death, or take this risky chance of life, " the voice said now feeling darker than ever, "Choose wisely and quickly, oh dear, Light Prince."
I flashed back to everyone I care for, and with tears in my eyes I took out the book.
"Forgive me everyone... and the possible future reincarnations that'll come after me... But I refuse to die this way!"
I opened the book and a flash of light takes me away inside it, as the book falls into the castle's water ditch. I open my eyes to find myself in a weird void-like dimension with many doors. The boy who I was chasing from before was behind me once again.
"Welcome Light Prince, to the world of Game Master, " he began to speak, "As you know, it's one of the 7 Mystery Curses and if you solve one of them, you will gain untold dark magic and spellcasting knowledge. All you have to do is pick a door for a game challenge. Only one door leads you back home. Easy right?"
"No it really isn't."
I knew my place. I wasn't going to win this. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it came to actually knowing things. This was too much. Losing one game would be game over for me. And I have to keep guessing doors to leave this dimension? That might take an eternity! But... if there is a small hope of escaping, I'll take it.
Okay then. Bring it on.
